So, I'm here and alive. It's been a really long time since I have posted, but playing with babies is just something I can't pass up. I work at Island Collections, we manufacture Koa wood products. I LOVE THIS JOB! I get up at 4:30am, leave by 5, get to work by 6, and then I'm off by 3 or 4. I only work Monday through Thursday and it's awesome. When I get home from work, Lia and Levu run to the window and yell for me and when the door opens, HUGS EVERYWHERE!!!! I absolutely love it.
The Wilkins are here for 2 weeks and there are 5 adults and 5 children, one 4 yr old, three 2 yr olds, and a 6 month old. I am so thrilled that baby Ollie has blue eyes! It was 33 years before my mom had a blue eyed child and then again, 33 years for a blue eyed grandchild. He remimds me a lot of Bubba. His hair is curly on the top and down the back and straight on the sides like Bubba's was. I'm so happy I finally got to see him. Lots of kids = Lots of noise, BUT It's so fun with all of them here. Lia and Levu LOVE having their cousins here and "Mama Lia" loves to hold her baby cuthin.
I was having a hard time being over here, so far from the Owensby Family. I love that I can call them up or text anytime and they are happy to talk to me. I love Skype and being able to see Bubba and Ike. I can't wait for October to get here! That's when they come and visit us for 2 weeks! WAHOO!!!
There is no birth parent support group over here and I really want to call ask if one can be started. I'm afraid that they will tell me no, and then what would I do? I think I'm going to try to call this week.
Well, that's all for now. I don't do much besides go to work and play with the bebes. Hopefully that will change soon.
